The waiting game

Well...Luke is here...School is over for both sisters...we are almost done with May birthdays...but...I am still pregnant :/. I am getting really really...really uncomfy. I went to the doctor on Monday and I was 1 cm dilated, which is nothing big...but atleast we are working in the right direction. Hopefully Cole will come to see us in about 3-4 weeks.

Now on to happier things...Luke! I love that little man...if I have to say so myself he loves me too. It is funny to see Katie going through the same things I went through when Ellie was born...basically a crying hungry baby is no fun :). It is nice to be on the other side of motherhood (bring the aunt) - even though being Ellie's mom is my greatest accomplishment to date.

Jill drove me and Ellie up to see Katie today - it was a nice visit...always fun to be with little man Luke. Jill did Ellie's hair for the first time...check this out...haha!

I was out on Katie's couch holding Luke when I asked Jill to go check and see where Ellie was b/c she was really quiet...and that usually means she is into something. Jill came out laughing and running for my camera. She brought back out this pic...

Yes...Ellie is a facebook stalker too...haha. I think this website was on the screen before Ellie got there...but it is just the best pic ever!!

Big news at the Burnett/Elliott/Woodson household!

LUKE IS HERE! He is finally here...we finally got to meet him. If I may say so myself...he is so CUTE! He was born May 8th at 9:29 am. He was 7 lbs 0 oz...he has the smallest little waist, hips, and butt. He loves to suck on his bottom lip and he has his mommies nose. Of course, he has jet black hair. I am in love!



We celebrated Mother's Day with Tim's family today. We went to Tim's parents house and had a yummy meal. Ellie played with Aunt Ellen most of the time - they colored lots of pictures! Ellie was not willing to take a nap today and she did pretty well for no nap. We did not get 2 miles down the road before Ellie was fast asleep in her car seat. PS- I filled my car up today and it cost $90...yes that is a 9-0...YIKES!

Could we have more going on??

Wow, things are getting hectic!!! As you know, my Grampa is in the nursing home now getting rehab for his new hip ball. Katie has NOT DELIVERED YET! I am on bedrest, and my aunt's (my mom's brothers wife's) mom is getting over a broken back, and her dad was taken to the ER last night for signs of a stroke. GEEZ! When it rains...it poors. We are all trying our best to make sure everyone is attended to. I spend a lot of my weekends sitting in the recliner in my grampas room watching him sleep - fun!

Now...to Katie...I don't know if I will ever be an aunt. I guess I will by May 8th. She is being induced that morning if the little squirt has not come. I don't know why he is not coming...she is past her due date now!

I went to the doctor today for my 32 week appt. I saw a doctor vs a mid wife and got a lot more answers about my hernia. I think I am going to have to have it repaired...but not until 6 weeks after delivery. I go Aug 1st to the surgeon for my consultation. I don't think the hernia repair will be bad at all...but having two small kids with a hernia repair might be tough :).
